The Maritime Bay Classic made it's debut back in 1989 on Manitowoc's north side. During it's first 18 years, it was part of the International Cycling Classic (SuperWeek) Series. After a 2 year Hiatus, the organizing commitee is proud to announce that the race will be returning in 2009.On June 21st, 2009, mark your calendar for the new Maritime Bay Classic as part of the new and exciting Midwest Cycling Series. This series promises a first rate show for all ages showcasing the finest cyclists on the country, combined with a full day of family entertainment.
